Healthcare Access Initiative
The Joe Higgs Foundation (JHF) is dedicated to improving health and meaningful access to care for the underserved population. Health Centers and Community Clinics provide vital medical services, and through our Support initiatives, we aim to educate, raise awareness and implement important healthcare programs.
JHF is raising awareness of chronic diseases that disproportionality affect the underprivileged population, and in particular:
(1). Prostate Cancer
(2). Hypertension - High Blood Pressure
(3). Diabetes
(4). Kidney Disease
(5). Stroke
Joe Higgs died of Prostate Cancer in 1999, and a major focus of The Joe Higgs Foundation is to raise awareness, conduct education programs and suggest Healthful solutions to this insidious deadly disease.
